Some mirrors are decorative, some afford the illusion of greater interior space and some are intended specifically to cast back the beholder's image. The Mirror for Everyone concept has the third purpose in mind, encouraging one to take a close look at himself and to celebrate what makes him unique.
While the designer might have loved to create customized reflectors for each client, she opted to produce what seems to be a series of eight. The looking glases depict men, women and children of different heights with different hairstyles and outfits, expressed as simplified silhouettes with pixelated contours. There is even a dog as well.
This jagged geometric edge blurs the more particular identities of the characters. The loose form of each Mirror for Everyone embraces the observer tightly to cut out the background and tailor his view of himself.
