The Pendulum Wall Clock is a futuristic and highly minimalist take on the traditional grandfather clock. It does away with the large wooden encasement to focus on the most important details of these old world time-tellers: The pendulum and hands.
Conceived by Nuno Teixeira, an industrial design studio based in Lisboa, Portugal, the Pendulum Wall Clock comes in all black, which will complement many different homes and their existing decor. It secures to the wall easily and boasts illuminated ends so that people can read the time even in the dead of the night. Teixeuira writes, "Pendulum works as an ordinary pendulum wall clock, with a perpetual movement provided by the magnetic mechanism. Since no double weight-driven movement is needed, the clock is lighter and easy to install."
