Italian imprint Moroso introduces its new Pebble Rubble series of furniture that is made by Swedish designers Sofia Lagerkvist and Anna Lindgren from Front Design. It highlights explorative themes and is inspired by their childhood memories, specifically playing in forests and enjoying nature.
The shapes and structures of the furniture nod to the look of rocks and boulders that are naturally rounded by the functions of the outdoors. To create the furniture, the designers took it one step further by going out on forest walks and 3D scanning the rocks that they found. Through these scans, the designers create organic shapes that make up the collection. There are also 16 new textiles that are made by Kvadrat by scanning natural surfaces in nature to produce for Moroso.
