This year, Planters fans learned of the death of Planters' 104-year-old Mr. Peanut mascot, followed by the birth of Baby Nut—and this character is growing up fast, as the newly renamed Peanut Jr. mascot is already celebrating his 21st birthday. Just six months after the rebirth of the mascot, Planters is introducing Peanut Jr., who is said to have undergone "a magical growth spurt."

In celebration of Peanut Jr.’s birthday, Planters is inviting people to join the festivities, especially at a time when their own birthdays may look different than usual due to the restrictions of the global pandemic.
