General Mills Just Debuted New Peanut Butter Chex Cereal
Katherine Pendrill — June 9, 2019 — Lifestyle
General Mills is about to give its classic Chex cereal and upgrade with the debut of new Peanut Butter Chex. While the new cereal retains Chex signature square (or diamond) shape, it also boasts the sweet and nutty taste of peanut butter.
General Mills' new Peanut Butter Chex cereal consists of sweetened corn cereal pieces coated with real peanut butter. Like most of the other Chex varieties, the new cereal is gluten-free and contains no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives.
Technically the new cereal has not been officially released and does not yet appear on the Chex website. However, eagle-eyed shoppers have been spotting the nutty new Chex on store shelves, suggesting a nationwide rollout is not far away.
