The Starburst House by Taiwan-based studio HAO Design is a pastel apartment that is welcoming, homey, and chic. The brightly lit space is required by a family who wanted to live in a space that is "open-ended, unfixed, and flexible." The floorplan of the home is pretty straightforward with the exception of the asymmetrically pitched roof which was deemed "the most beautiful [feature]" by HAO Design.
Furthermore, the pastel apartment boasts a highly contemporary and clean aesthetic in virtue of the layout and selection of furniture. As the architects concentrated on providing a modern vibe that instills sophistication, the Starburst House includes meticulously arranged bedrooms for the children. In addition, HAO Design installed a set of concrete steps that add an industrial element to the pastel apartment.
