Testing pasta traditionally consists of fishing a noodle out of the boiling water, which is something the 'AL DENTE' pasta tester aims to make a process of the past. Designed by OTOTO in collaboration with Klipy Design, the cooking accessory features the form of a fisherman aptly named Al Dente who will hold a piece of pasta like a fishing line. The accessory will sit on the side of the pot and allow the chef to easily remove it for taking a quick bite to test if the pasta is ready.
The 'AL DENTE' pasta tester takes a charming approach to a common kitchen task and could greatly reduce the occurrence of a burnt hand when fishing out a noodle from boiling water.
