Finn Magee Turns Outdoor Seating to Moving Advertisement
Rachel — December 9, 2009 — Art & Design
When you sit on a park bench you generally find peace and quiet. Designer Finn Magee saw that we are bombarded with advertisements throughout our day but the park is the final place for peace.
As a result, Finn Magee created this billboard park bench. The bench looks like a regular seat but the wood back turns to reveal a billboard that promotes the quiet in the park. Reading ‘Peace & Quiet,’ these park benches are a fun way to make fun of the intense advertising we live with.
