The Pause Bench has been designed by the Sweden-based Broberg & Ridderstråle studio for Asplund as a functional furniture piece for the home that takes a decidedly meditative approach to the seat style.
The bench is constructed with a Zen-like form that has a section for sitting accented by a cushion and a blank section next to it perfect for additional seating or a place to position decor pieces. This gives the bench seat a meditative profile that's perfect for placement at entryways as a spot to put on shoes or deeper in the home as a spot to unwind at the end of the day.
The Pause Bench is crafted out of solid oak and lacquered oak veneer, and comes in four color options.
