The Paradero Hotel first opened in 2021 and it is comprised of 41 suite resorts. The design element channels a striking Brutalist aesthetic that is backed by an eco-conscious approach to architecture as well. The hotel is also home to the Michelin-Key TENOCH restaurant. The space was designed by Ruben Valdez and Yashar Yektajo, who are up-and-coming Mexican talents.
The oasis measures about 5 acres in total and embodies the notion of framing the environment where the desert joins the ocean. The hotel has a cast-in-place concrete construction of sturdy volumes complete with a curvilinear shape to create a pre-air conditioning cooling system. The model is essentially something that is both an indoor and outdoor living experience.
