Daniel Silverstain showcases wonderfully weird materials, strong silhouettes and silky sleek hair in this 'Pantherbone' editorial for his Spring/Summer 2013 collection.
The collection was inspired by biomechanics, human anatomy and 60s Sci-Fi movies that we clearly see in this Pantherbone editorial. Exaggerated styles, animalistic bone and muscle features, and body-con dresses are just a few details which make up the unusual dynamic of this collection.
While Daniel Silverstain utilized mostly avant-garde materials like mesh and neoprenes, Pantherbone still features a few surprisingly wearable pieces. The collection is balanced out with monochromatic colors and delicate details. Models with slicked-back hair are photographed drinking milk, building puzzles and just casually standing around displaying these gorgeously made ensembles.
