Pancakes for a Purpose Benefits the Make-A-Wish Foundation

The Pancakes for a Purpose promotion is being run by Village Inn and Bakers Square to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The promotion is taking place from April 3 through June 30, 2024 and features a $250,000 goal for diners to contribute towards when they head in for a meal. The promotion boasts buttermilk pancakes with a blueish hue thanks to blueberries in the batter, which are paired with a supreme cream and blueberry compote between each layer with whipped cream and fresh berries to finish. $3 will be donated to the goal for every serving of Pancakes for a Purpose served.

Chief Operating Officer of BBQ Holdings Al Hank spoke on the Pancakes for a Purpose promotion saying, "Make-A-Wish is a powerful organization that brightens the lives of children with critical illnesses. Wishes can bring a child that is fearful, anxious or sad a new sense of confidence and hope, and we’re excited to do that for wish kid, Isis, who wishes to go to Alaska to see the northern lights.”
