Clothing retail giant Macy's has announced the launch of its first brand platform, 'Own Your Style,' which encourages customers to celebrate their personal styles through the brand's curated assortment of brands and pieces.
According to the company, the entire platform is grounded in the notion that "style comes from within," and is therefore geared towards bringing that idea out in its users. For example, the platform will automatically connect users with products, inspiration, and advice regarding their unique personal style and areas of interest.
“Style is unique to the individual. We will help our customers express their personal style through personalized data-driven recommendations and expert advice that will differentiate us in a cluttered marketplace,” said Rich Lennox, Chief Brand Officer of Macy’s.
