I am not sure Queen Victoria would approve, but it appears that the soon-to-be-built Imperial War Museum of Great Britain will certainly open the eyes. The Royal Institute of British Architects has launched a contest to design the latest addition to the Empire. It is a contest that has obviously decided to stretch typical British architecture and push the boundaries of building design.
Whichever design wins this contest clearly shows how far the British ideals have changed in a few short years. Take a look at the designs for the Imperial War Museum that made the short list.
