Shutterstock recently asked its internal design team to reimagine some of this year's Oscar-nominated films as pop art-inspired pieces. While the 2016 Academy Awards may be over, these posters offer a fresh perspective on some of the most talked about films.
The pop art-inspired tribute to this year's Oscar-nominated films was spearheaded by stock photo agency Shutterstock. The images were created by the company's internal design team, who drew from their existing bank of stock photos to create the alternate movie posters. Each poster draws inspiration from a different pop artist, with movies such as Mad Max: Fury Road receiving an Andy Warhol-themed makeover and films such as The Big Short paying tribute to Keith Haring.
