The conceptual 'Hetta' organic waste bin has been designed as an eco-friendly solution for the kitchen that will make the composting and/or disposal process far simpler for inhabitants. The sleek unit works by being positioned into the kitchen and being used as an area for disposing of organic matter; the system will go to work increasing airflow around the waste and keeping odors out of the room thanks to built-in filters. This works to drastically reduce the moisture content within the waste by 60% and subsequently reduce the weight by up to 70% to make disposal far easier.
The conceptual 'Hetta' organic waste bin is the design work of Gesa Oeljeschläger and only requires emptying every 16 days without having to worry about flies, smells or pathogenic bacteria.
