How do you get your child to eat his fruit? This clever concept for orange packaging alters the ritual of eating the common peeled fruit so that those little ones who are looking for a new experience can enjoy a playful process.
The tube that Megan Carrell created is hinged into two semi-cylinders, crafted from paper material. The arrangement enables individual slices of the tropical fruit to be separated and stacked within for easy bite-size snacking. There's a lot of citrus within each package, so the eater has the option of keeping half of it sealed for later.
The most exciting part of NOMsters packaging is the visual design. A die-cut window on the front of the carton makes the animated shape of a mouth, visibly full of fruit. Illustrated with a cartoon monster face, this orange packaging may be savage, but it affords mess-free sides to kids' meals.
