Openmix is a mini audio mixer that is perfect for budding and wannabe DJs who want to be able to mix music on an easily portable system.
Touted as the world's smallest audio mixer, the Openmix crams a tiny audio cross-fader into a case not a whole lot bigger than an iPod shuffle. It allows users to smoothly mix tracks from any audio source equipped with output jacks, such as laptops, tablets, smartphones and MP3 players. Using the device is as simple as plugging in, hitting play and mixing. The setup is incredibly simple and doesn't require a massive instruction manual.
The developer of the Openmix has taken to Kickstarter to raise funds to bring the miniature audio mixer to production. A minimum pledge of $29 will secure you a 1.5 x 2 x 9.6 inch plastic black-and-blue Openmix in January 2015 if the product hits its fundraising goal.
