This Open Air Hotel Room is in the Middle of the Swiss Alps
Mishal Omar — July 21, 2016 — Eco
This open air hotel designed by Null Stern has almost none of the amenities that most hotel rooms do while providing the best possible location.
The open air hotel room is in the middle of the Swiss Alps and is 6,463 feet above sea level. The room consists of nothing but a stone platform on which a queen sized bed, floating bedside tables and two stools sit. The hotel room does not have a ceiling nor does it have walls, providing optimal views of the night time sky and the beautiful scenic mountains during the day. The hotel has a service in which a butler delivers the guests breakfast in bed and a public bathroom is a 10 minute walk from the room.
This hotel concept is a unique one and not one that everyone would enjoy, but its ability to provide some of the best views in the world in such a unique way makes it something worth trying.
