Helle Mardahl, born in 1976, is a Copenhagen-based artist who blurs the boundaries of art and fashion.
She studied fashion design at Central Saint Martins, a prestigious institution in London. Mardahl was also awarded “Statens Kunstfonds†(the state art fond), a three year working grant, providing her with the opportunity to work in the fields between fashion, art, sculpture and installation.
In 2006 she launched herself as an artist and no longer a fashion designer.
