Often, up-and-coming vector artists will emulate works that they've seen elsewhere, but not Olivier Lutaud. Utilizing digital tools to their fullest potential, Lutaud has developed a series of surreal liquification images that seemingly melt away things such as tongues, tattoos and skulls. Even more impressive, is an image of a phoenix that's entirely rendered in the same running fluids style that punctuates Olivier Lutaud's latest works.
Some of his older illustrations are equally inspired albeit a little more mainstream. Sensuous women are littered throughout his vibrant portfolio and he's definitely mastered the art of digital rendering. Some pieces I can't even distinguish whether it's a vector illustration or an actual photograph.
Lutaud is based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. When he isn't messing around with these uniquely colorful and trippy vector creations, he designs websites and takes photographs.
