The Old News Parquet Flooring may report old news, but can still be considered new news. The funky tiles make it looks as though various clippings of newspaper have been scattered across the floor of a cutting room. Faded and overlapping, they are definitely retro at heart.
Created for Baurwerk Parquet, the Old News Parquet Flooring was designed by Swiss designer Virginia Maissen. Appropriately part of the Vintage Bauwerk collection, the board tiles are made out of natural oak strips. Each one features a different print, which can be combined to create as many as 2,047 unique designs. Now that's some impressive customization.
A retro style perfect for a studio, office or loft, the Old News Parquet Flooring reduces sound by 50% and are thermally insulated.
