The Oatly iced coffees are the oat drink brand's inaugural ready-to-drink (RTD) coffee beverages that put premium coffee and its signature oat-based beverage in the spotlight. The drinks come in two varieties including the Oatly Barista Iced Flat White and the Oatly Barista Iced Caramel Macchiato, which each come packaged in cans and are arriving now at Tesco in the UK for £2 per serving. The drinks are each made with premium Arabica coffee, while also being dairy-free and soy-free with calcium, riboflavin and vitamins B12 and D fortified in.
General Manager, Oatly UK and Ireland Bryan Carroll commented on the Oatly iced coffees saying, "This ambient ready-to-drink format has been developed with the growing grab-and-go audience in mind. We are seeing a real shift in how shoppers consume coffee, with Gen Z in particular driving the surge in cold formats – a trend that continues to remain a cultural movement as we head into the New Year. Taste remains central to all Oatly innovation, and alongside the rising demand for convenience, we are excited to see the response to these new RTDs as they roll out in Tesco.”
