Tumblr Created a NYFW Pop-Up Shop Featuring a RTW Collection
Laura McQuarrie — September 12, 2015 — Fashion
Since fashion and blogging have come to depend on one another, for the past few seasons Tumblr has had a strong presence at NYFW fashion events. This year, the social media platform is doing things a little differently.
In keeping with the tradition of the 10 past seasons, Tumblr will be sending a group of elite bloggers like Sam Cannon, Kate Owen and Miguel Yatco to cover NYFW events. To celebrate this mini milestone, Tumblr is also hosting a pop-up shop that will sell pieces from its own RTW capsule collection. What's neat about these clothing designs is that they come from Tumblr's own creative community.
Following the pop-up shop's opening to the public on Friday, the entire collection will be made available online the following Monday.
