Mega Image, a Romanian supermarket subsidiary of Ahold Delhaize, launched the Nutri-Score labeling system for its private label products. The graphical system helps consumers make healthy choices by offering them an at-a-glance score of a product's nutritional value. The Nutri-Score labeling system measures the value of the product, then assigns it a letter grade between A and E on an easy-to-read color-coded scale. About 1,500 of Mega Image's private label products have been scored using the system so far.
