Numen/For Use has transformed a stairwell in the OK Center for Contemporary Art into a netted installation. People are still able to use the device as stairs, albeit it's a lot harder to stand on two feet the whole time.
Numen/For Use is known for coming up with elaborate installations that involve people being pushed outside their comfort zones and exploring space in a new way. However, with this netting the participants are not at any risk, and can simply enjoy the space from a completely different perspective. There are sections for people to sit back and relax, while other areas are meant for everyone to keep moving along the designated pathway. Interestingly, the shape of the netting changes as more users participate in the installation.
