Since the onset of the pandemic, parents are struggling to work from home while also being responsible for their children's ability to learn from home. To combat this issue, New York City-based tutoring company Noodle PROs began offering 'Schoodle Academic' to their employees as part of a well-being benefit. The program is now available directly to families through their employers.
John Murray, CEO of Noodle PROs, commented on the program, stating: “Uncertainty over school re-openings is adding to the already high stress, anxiety and frustration felt by home-bound parents who have had their children at home since March."
The Schoodle Academic offers "is configured to support parents and Districts in all core subjects (Math, Reading, Writing, Science)," and is not seen as a replacement for school but a "strong supplement."
