Before the release of new consol, global President Satoru Iwata shows off the Nintendo Wii U Gamepad Controller. This teaser was released during a pre-E3 livestream. Iwata explains during the release the need for Nintendo to create new technology that not only makes life easier but also helps in uniting people. In a world where we are constantly “alone together” Nintendo want to help foster human relationships and interaction.
Unlike other controllers, the Nintendo Wii U Gamepad Controller has a huge touchscreen at its center. Along with this, the controllers is a fully independent infrared television remote by just clicking the TV control button. The gamepad allows for asymmetric diversity in game play by using two screens with an unfixed relationship. Additionally, the controller’s motion and gyro sensors make using it much more intuitive.
