To expand upon the kinds of gaming experiences that can be had with the Nintendo Switch (the seventh major console developed by the video game company that was unveiled in October 2016) Nintendo has announced Nintendo Labo.
Nintendo Labo introduces DIY kits for the Nintendo Switch system, meaning that kids will soon be able to play with a wide variety of imaginative toys that they make themselves. Some of the kits that will be available as of the spring include the Variety Kit, the Robot Kit, as well as the Customization Set. These kits contain all of the necessary cardboard cutouts for making everything from houses and remote control cars to fishing rods and pianos. Although the Nintendo Switch system is sold separately, the console can be neatly slotted into various cardboard pieces to introduce entirely new ways to play.
