The Nintendo 3DS Loses the Need for Pesky 3D Glasses

I'm sure gamers the world over are slowly chanting 'Nintendo 3DS' in fervent rhapsody. I'm not much a gamer myself anymore, but I can't help but feel a slight anticipatory thrill course through me at the thought of a hand-held 3D game console.
Aside from the obvious 3D awesomeness that the Nintendo 3DS will offer, I think I am most excited about the fact that it claims to do away with 3D glasses. Launching in early 2011, it will be compatible with Nintendo's existing games.
