Japanese luxury imprint sacai serves up an edible Nike Waffle footwear at a popup restaurant space in Tokyo. It is served at Tokyo Burnside with the authorization approval of Nike along with a menu that is led by the talents of the iconic Ghetto Gastro. It features a selection of brunch items and each one is shaped like the sole unit of a sneaker with the iconic Swoosh stamped onto the meal.
It is a sweet and savory design and served with 'Strawberry Haze' with strawberries and a scoop of coconut ice cream. Another flavor is 'Black Power' which is a black chocolate waffle with plantain ice cream. This is followed by Chicken Coup which is fried chicken with a matcha waffle and salad greens. It is rounded out by Triple C with corn waffles, crabs salad, and caviar.
