T-shirts from the Nike 'Journey to Greatness' campaign, which was launched earlier this year to inspire young artists to create T-shirts embodying athletic performance, achievement and commitment, will be going on display July 14.
The initiative was a collaboration between Nike and artist David White, who, along with the Dean of Design at the London College of Communication, provided young art students with guidance throughout the project. The finished T-shirts will be presented at the Nike Town London and 1948London stores and will also be available for purchase (prices start at £35 per tee).
The art students involved in the Nike Journey to Greatness design project include graduates from art institutions including Camberwell, Central Saint Martins and London College of Fashion, among others. The video here shows some behind-the-scenes footage of the design process.
