Nick Cave is Making a Museum of Sentimental Items of Arguable Importance
Alyson Wyers — September 17, 2014 — Unique
Musician Nick Cave is curating your sentimental junk for the frankly named Museum of Important Sh*t. On the heels of the release of his semi-autobiographical fictional documentary 20,000 Days on Earth, the museum will be full of objects that are only deeply important, but only to the original owner.
Nick Cave is spearheading the project along with film directors Jane Pollard and Iain Forsyth in collaboration with production company Film4. Inspired by the film they all worked on together, the Museum of Important Shit will exist online. To submit your own personal history, you need to log in with your Twitter account. People are encouraged to submit as many artefacts as they'd like and share their favorites from the collection.
