Neutrogena and Walgreens have teamed up to help drive home the importance of sun safety as we head into the warm weather months. The brands are launching a new campaign in partnership with the Melanoma research Foundation to encourage consumers to take sun safety seriously and will also include more than 3,000 Walgreens Beauty Consultants nationwide receiving education on the topic. Consumers will see in-store features including product kiosks that offer access to the brand's various products along with additional resources to stay safe in the sun.
General Manager at Neutrogena Kerry Sullivan spoke on the new Neutrogena and Walgreens partnership saying, "The continued rise of skin cancer is alarming, especially when you think that it is among the most preventable cancers. We’re dedicated to the eradication of preventable skin cancer and have long advocated for greater education and promotion of sun safe behaviors because we know it is imperative to total skin health and well-being. We’re thrilled to be partnering with Walgreens and the Melanoma Research Foundation to enhance these life-saving efforts through collective advocacy and consumer education, so that we all can live life more safely under the sun.”
