At first I thought I had come up with the perfect comparison for the Nessie Lamp; that is, until I noticed that it was in fact modeled after the Lock Ness Monster. Also, to clarify, I wasn't aware of the name either--that's what tipped it off!
Designed by 2-B-2 Architects, the Nessie Lamp exemplifies great execution of a tricky concept. What could have been awkward and awful is actually something that I totally want in my home now!
