nendo sees Kyoto Displays Artful Pieces of Japanese Craft

nendo sees Kyoto is the latest exhibition that is displaying unique art pieces that were originally showcased throughout World Cultural Heritage sites within Kyoto. It is making its first-ever American launch at the Friedman Benda and it is led by none other than Oki Sato at nendo.
The designer brings forth collaborative projects along with six local master artisans that are individually unique in their ancient Japanese work of craftsmanship and methodology. It is all rooted in traditional Japanese techniques that are fused with modern elements of material technology. The collaborators include the likes of "16th Generation Onishi Seiwemon, 12th Generation Ueji Jiki Ogawa Katsuaki, Kojima Shouten, 13th Generation Soutetsu Nakamura, Miyazaki Kagu, and 15th Generation Kichizaemon Raku Jikiny."
