Herman Miller has just introduced the refreshed Nelson Basic Cabinet series. This is a minimal modular storage system that made its debut back in 1946 by designer George Nelson. The new series is comprised of minimal mid-century staples that have new options including solid wooden legs, whether it is standard or tapered. Other custom choices include pawn, wavy, or cupcake designs.
There are six styles that make up the collection: "The Basic Bedside Table, Basic Cabinet, Basic Cabinet with Door, Basic Console, Basic Credenza, and the Basic Media Unit." These are made from MDF using walnut or white oak veneers. The entire collection is now available to shop online at Herman Miller and prices range from $895 – $4,325 USD.
