Inspired by the 80s cult classic ‘Less Than Zero’ starring Robert Downey Jr., the NEIGHBORHOOD SS12 collection is eclectically retro. Named after the film, this collection features a slew of clashing prints and patterns such as classic camo, tropical flowers and tiger stripes. Although the fits are contemporary, the designs are not, which makes the NEIGHBORHOOD SS12 collection very intriguing.
The NEIGHBORHOOD SS12 lookbook creates a night-on-the-town vibe that really adds to the character of the clothes. The use of a red 1959 Corvette, which happens to be the same one that Andrew McCarthy drives in the movie, finishes the vintage aesthetic with pizazz. The NEIGHBORHOOD SS12 collection is filled with trench coats, suit jackets, wide-brimmed hats and Wayfarer-styled sunglasses that were also present in the film.
