Broadway star Daveed Diggs stars in Nature Valley's ad spot, which cements the granola bar's commitment to restoring 10,000 miles of hiking trails throughout the United States.
This initiative was created in partnership with the National Park Foundation. In order to celebrate these restorations, Nature Valley created this cheerful ad spot featuring the Hamilton star, which is set to a re-written version of the Proclaimer's hit '500 Miles.' In the ad, Diggs galavants through various trails, passing along granola bars to fellow hikers. Throughout the ad, he sings to the tune of 500 Miles, replacing the lyrics with "we'll restore 10,000 miles and we’ll restore 10,000 more. Nature Valley made these trails accessible so go explore.”
