Nail It in Mexico Boasts an Incredible Ceiling Installation

When it comes to creativity on any level, it's great to be surrounded by inspiration at every turn and that's exactly what people will get when they step into Nail It, a nail salon based in Zapopan, Mexico. Designed by Estudio ALA, it is an incredible space that is at once contemporary and artsy. As though inspired by a gallery, it's predominantly all-white with the most striking ceiling.
Dripping from the ceiling are colored sticks that mimic the bottles of polish lining the walls. Nail It puts an emphasis on such bursts of color considering that's the business they are in. Interestingly, Contemporist points out, "The different colors of sticks define the various stations for each of the nail artists in the studio. You can see their names on the right."
