MyHealthTeams Launches New Network For Long COVID Sufferers

MyHealthTeams, a health-focused social media startup, has launched myCOVIDteam, a new network dedicated to patients suffering from "long COVID." The latest development arrives thanks to recent partnership between MyHealthTeams and South African company Discovery.

The new network will function as a community-focused platform where individuals living with long COVID can connect and access important information regarding risks, symptoms, and treatment options for their condition. In addition, users will be able to access medical resources such as doctor interviews and published studies.

"It’s still early in the effort to understand and mitigate long-COVID, and myCOVIDteam is a community of people who share firsthand experiences and can help each other more effectively work with their doctors," said Eric Peacock, co-founder and CEO of MyHealthTeams.
