The myfab5 app is attempting to make it easier to pick a restaurant. The app cuts through the clutter associated with other food apps by letting you search for a restaurant based solely upon its ranking. How are restaurants ranked? Users of the app simply rate their top five favorite restaurants in a given category, such as best pizza, and the app tallies the votes and ranks the most popular eateries.
The app does let users post reviews, but those are limited to 260 characters. Users can post pictures of their food/the restaurant itself to give others a better idea of what to expect.
