Architecture studio Stefano Boeri Architetti unveils the plans for the Museum of Technology in Xi'an design, which is also recognized as Culture CBD Modern Technology Experience Center. The purpose of the hub is to form a place that is open to the science community and public in the area. The museum has a winding form that is lined on one side with metal slats applied vertically and horizontal slats comprised of glass fiber-reinforced concrete on the opposite side.
Founder of the studio Stegano Boeri speaks about the design, stating "The Xi'an museum will be an architecture open to everybody, designed to activate a process of urban regeneration in the area and involve a wide audience – from technology enthusiasts to children and students. A place of study, in-depth analysis, research and technological innovation, in the heart of one of the most important cities in Chinese history."
