This Luxury Cruise Ship Will Feature a Multilevel Racetrack
Katherine Pendrill — March 31, 2016 — Luxury
Norwegian Cruise Lines recently announced that its newest ship will be equipped with a multilevel racetrack. Luxury cruise ships often feature amenities such as pools, theaters and shops, however this ship will be the first with a full-sized racetrack onboard.
The new ship is called the 'Norwegian Joy' and it will be large enough to accommodate 3,900 guests at a time. In addition to its VR theater, park and shopping district, the ship will also feature a multilevel racetrack. This two-level track will allow guests to race around the top deck of the luxury liner while competing against others for the fastest time.
While the idea of a racetrack at sea may sound a bit over-the-top, the extravagant attraction demonstrates the growing demand for new and innovative cruise ship attractions.
