'Corsair,' the multinational gaming hardware and peripherals manufacturer, recently announced the launch of its upcoming 'MP700' solid-state drive (SSD). According to early testing from Corsair, the MP700 boasts read speeds up to 10,000 mb/s and write speeds upward of 9,000 mb/s. The MP700 PCIE 5.0 SSDs will be compatible with AMD's upcoming AM5 platform, as well as Intel's upcoming Raptor Lake series of CPUs.
Aside from the read and write speeds, Corsair did not confirm the pricing or additional specifications of the MP700 series, such as whether or not the SSDs will be shipped with attached cooling solutions. Corsair will release the remaining details, such as unit pricing, in September of 2022 at a launch event.
