Visual artist Heather Hansen has really elevated her movement art by using her entire body to create these stunning paintings. The aptly titled 'Emptied Gestures' is a project that explores the creation of art through the natural movements of a human body.
In a way the paintings are a direct reflection of the images created in her mind, as the paint is flowing literally from her fingertips. The entire project is documented by photographer Bryan Tarnowski, who is able to capture the amazing moments as the movement art unfolds. Hansen explains, "In this series, I am searching for ways to download my movement directly onto paper, emptying gestures from one form to another and creating something new in the process."
