'ASRock' announced a new motherboard upgrade kit for customers who own existing current-generation ASRock motherboards. The upgrade kit allows users to add wi-fi 6E to their motherboards. This not only enables significantly faster wi-fi connections, but also the ability to activate Bluetooth 5.2.
This upgrade kit can remove the need for many ASRock motherboard owners to purchase a new motherboard, especially considering the fact that the chipsets for both Intel and AMD's upcoming CPUs will be backwards compatible with existing motherboards, following a BIOS update.
The ASRock upgrade kit includes two antennas, two wi-fi antenna cables, a plastic cover, and an m.2 NIC, which will allow for protected, reliable connections over both wireless Bluetooth and wi-fi signals.
