The Zero On-Body Mosquito + Tick Repellent is being launched with the hiking season in mind to provide consumers with a way to stay protected from insect bites this spring and summer.
Developed in collaboration with the American Hiking Society (AHS), the product is formulated with the brand's IR3535 active ingredient that's inspired by a naturally occurring amino acid. This works diligently to block both mosquitos and tick receptors for up to eight-hours per application, while also providing a non-sticky texture that's odorless. The brand will be providing the spray on select trail sites on June 1, 2024 for the AHS 32nd Annual National Trails Day.
Vice President and General Manager Chetan Parekh commented on the Zero On-Body Mosquito + Tick Repellent saying, "Zevo was drawn to AHS and their desire for a world where everyone has access to the great outdoors, feeling a sense of belonging within the hiking community. We believe that bugs shouldn’t stop anyone from enjoying the things they love and we’re inspired by the outdoor enthusiasts’ passion for giving back. That’s why we are so glad to help them prepare for this important day with Zevo.”
