Mahdi Eghbali Amlashi has designed a futuristic village concept on the moon. After extensive research, the designer has envisioned a village that can house 100 people - including researchers, tourists, scientists - between 18 to 60.
Through a series of renderings, Mahdi Eghbali Amlashi illustrates the designs of a meeting area, a motion virtual reality game room, a solo gym, a robot-operated restaurant, a kitchen, and a space for hydroponic planting. Due to the expensive cost of delivering materials from earth to the moon, the village will be constructed using 3d printing.
The establishment of a village on the moon could mark a major step at normalizing interplanetary travel and improving the quality of life of the next generation of humans.
