There is a large majority of children who are often frustrated by the ideas of their parents using the computer for sheer anger or embarrassment of how they would handle the Internet, however this Moms and Social Media infographic draws heavily on the uprising number of mothers effectively using Facebook and Twitter.

Around 90% of mothers who have children of the ages eight and under have used Facebook within 30 days; 52% of those moms have over 200 Facebook friends and 49% of them use it while watching TV. With Facebook being established for a few years now, it is not surprising more mothers use it over the 37% who also have Twitter. Mothers are also beginning to use social media outlets as a way to change companies, with 63% believing their online presence influenced a company.
